POSTER: Model for Resilience and Thriving

from $17.00

Welcome to our new model for emotions and attitudes, developed by our co-founder and Chief Product Officer, Tina Schweiger. It was developed while she was earning her Master’s Degree in Industrial / Organizational Psychology from Harvard.

“I hope this emotion model helps you as much as it helps me. When I’m emotional, especially negatively triggered, it’s hard for me to remember all of those positive mindful habits I know that can snap me out of a bad place. I use this for myself to help me navigate out of a negative emotional experience!” - Tina

This model is broken down into three sections:

SECTION 1: MODEL
The first section shows the six major sets of emotional and attitudinal “opposites.”
The column on the far left is where you can find a representative attitude that tends to facilitate the negative emotion adjacent to it.
The column next to that represents the six major categories of negative emotions in the model.
The column in the middle of the left section represents the attitude that, when cultivated, can promote a “flip” into a positive emotional state - Resilience.
The fourth column represents the six major categories of positive emotions in the model.
The far right column represents the positive attitudes that when cultivated, promote lengthening, sharing, and expanding the positive state - Thriving.

SECTION 2: RESILIENCE
The center section shows a series of micro-mindfulness exercises that, when performed, can help develop deeper awareness of your emotional state and move you towards the resilience attitude.

SECTION 3: THRIVING
The far right section shows a series of micro-mindfulness exercises that, when performed, can help you build a broader awareness of your positive emotional state, encourage you to share it with others, and move toward attitudes that will help you continue to build on your positive emotional state.
